Performance
Track learner performance, assess skill growth, and conduct KPI-driven evaluations.
The Performance hub allows administrators and managers to track learner progress, assess skill growth, and conduct KPI-driven evaluations. By measuring core Learning & Development (L&D) dimensions over time, you can identify talent gaps, track the ROI of your training programs, and provide actionable feedback to your employees.
Plan or Add-on Required The features on this page require either the Ultra plan or the Performance+ add-on. If your workspace does not meet either requirement, you will see a locked preview state. Contact our sales team to upgrade your workspace.
To manage your organization's performance records, navigate to People → Performance in the Admin Portal sidebar. The page is divided into two main tabs: Overview and Evaluations.
1. The Performance Dashboard (Overview)
When you navigate to the Performance hub, you will land on the Overview tab. This dashboard provides a high-level, aggregate view of your organization's L&D health.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
At the top of the dashboard, four KPI cards give you an instant pulse on your workspace:
- Total Evaluations: The total number of performance evaluations submitted across the workspace.
- Global Average: The mean score of all evaluations out of 5.0.
- Strongest Dimension: The L&D competency where your organization scores the highest.
- Top Focus Area: The competency with the lowest average score, indicating where new training initiatives should be focused.
Analytics Charts
- Average Score by Dimension: A horizontal bar chart ranking the 5 core L&D dimensions across the entire company.
- Performance Trend: A line chart showing the trajectory of your Global Average score over the last 6 months.
- Score Distribution: A donut chart segmenting evaluations into performance bands (e.g., Excelling, Meets Expectations, Needs Focus).
- Top Groups by Avg. Score: A breakdown of performance averages segmented by your custom User Groups.
2. Managing Evaluations
The Evaluations tab acts as your master ledger for all submitted reviews. It displays a sortable table detailing the evaluation title, learner, evaluator, date, and overall average score.

Learner Visibility Evaluations that have been made visible to the learner will display a blue 👁️ Shared with learner badge directly beneath the evaluation title.
Conducting a New Evaluation
To create a new performance record, click the + New Evaluation button in the top right corner.

- Basic Information: Give the evaluation a clear title (e.g., "Q1 2026 Check-in") and select the learner.
- Visibility: Choose whether the evaluation is strictly for Admins Only or if it should be Learner & Admins (which shares the record with the user via their Learner Portal).
- The 5 L&D Dimensions: Evaluate the learner on a scale of 1 to 5 across five core competencies:
- Knowledge Application
- Skill Growth
- Active Engagement
- Initiative & Autonomy
- Knowledge Sharing
- Evaluation Notes: Use the optional text area to provide context, list specific achievements, or outline goals.
Viewing and Editing
Click on any evaluation row in the table to open a detailed summary modal. This displays the overall Average Score alongside the individual dimension scores, color-coded for quick readability.

To adjust scores or update your notes, click the Edit button within the summary modal.

Deleting an Evaluation
To delete a record, click the Delete button from the summary modal.

Permanent Action Deleting an evaluation will permanently remove it from the database and recalculate your workspace's aggregate analytics. You will be required to type the learner's name to confirm the deletion.
3. Individual User Performance
While the main Performance hub aggregates data company-wide, you can also view performance metrics for specific individuals. Navigate to People → Users, select a user, and click on their Performance tab.
Individual Overview
The user-level Overview tab features a detailed Performance Over Time multi-line chart.

This chart plots the learner's scores across all 5 dimensions over their history with the company, making it easy to visually track improvements, identify plateauing skills, and guide 1-on-1 coaching conversations.
Individual Evaluations
The user-level Evaluations tab lists only the records belonging to that specific user.

You can view details, edit, or click + New Evaluation directly from this page. When creating an evaluation from this view, the system will automatically pre-fill the learner's name in the evaluation form.
