Customise your workspace branding, custom domain, and analytics tracking.
The Appearance configuration page allows you to completely white-label your workspace. From custom logos and domains to integrated analytics tracking, you can ensure your learning portal feels like a native extension of your organization's brand.
Plan or Add-on Required The features on this page require either the Ultra plan or the White-Label+ add-on. If your workspace does not meet either requirement, you will see a locked preview state. Contact our sales team to upgrade your workspace.
To manage your workspace branding, navigate to Configuration → Appearance in the Admin Portal sidebar. The page is divided into three sections: Branding, Domain, and Tracking.
1. Branding (Visual Identity)
The Branding tab allows you to replace default TechClass visual assets with your own organization's identity.
- Logo: Upload your company logo to replace the default TechClass logo in the top navigation bar and on the public login/registration screens. For best results, use a PNG or SVG with transparent background (max 2 MB, ideal dimensions: 200×60 px).
- Favicon: Upload a small icon that appears in the browser tab when learners visit your platform (max 1 MB, ideal size: 32×32 or 64×64 px).
- Footer Branding: By default, the portal sidebar displays a "Powered by TechClass" copyright and build version. Toggling Hide TechClass Branding to the "On" position completely removes this text for a seamless, fully native feel.
2. Domain (Web Presence)
The Domain tab manages the web address your learners use to access the platform.
Default Subdomain
Every workspace is provisioned with a secure, built-in subdomain (e.g., acme.techclass.com). This is read-only and acts as the fallback address for your platform.
Custom Domain
If you want learners to access the portal via your own web address (e.g., acmelearning.com or learn.acmecorp.com), you can enable a Custom Domain.
To ensure security and proper SSL certificate provisioning, setting up a custom domain requires a two-step DNS verification process:
- Verify Domain Ownership: Enter your desired domain and click Save. The system will generate a unique
TXTrecord. Add this record to your DNS provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudflare) to prove you own the domain. - Point Your DNS: Add the provided
CNAMErecord to route traffic from your custom domain to your TechClass subdomain.
Once you have added both records to your DNS provider, click the Verify DNS button.
DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours. The badge will display Pending Verification until our servers can successfully detect your records, at which point it will turn green.
3. Tracking & Analytics
The Tracking tab allows your marketing and IT teams to inject analytics scripts securely without dealing with raw HTML code, preventing page layouts from breaking.
Scripts are automatically injected server-side on all pages, meaning you capture visitor behavior even on pre-login pages like the public catalog and registration screen.
- Google Analytics 4: Enter your GA4 Measurement ID (formatted as
G-XXXXXXX) to track page views, bounce rates, and conversion events. - Google Tag Manager: Enter your GTM Container ID (formatted as
GTM-XXXXXXX).
Using Other Tracking Tools? If you need to deploy Meta Pixels, Hotjar, Zendesk, or other third-party scripts, simply deploy them inside your Google Tag Manager container. Entering your GTM ID here will automatically load all tags managed within your Google workspace.
